A little bitchy & unsentimental in places, but here's where my head is as 2010 comes in.

My Top 10 wishes for 2010 are:

10. Barbara Walters faces her elitism, realizes that she’s out of touch and no longer a journalist and decides to go gracefully out to the pasture, taking the noose off ‘The View’ and really letting those ladies FLY! (It’s the first wish that came to mind, about a month ago…)

   9.  Ted Turner is able to somehow wrest control of CNN from Time Warner, dissolves HLN, and restores the credible source of news that serves the essential function in a democracy that it was intended to be. What we are sorely missing these days is VISIONARIES.

8.  Somebody finally convinces Beyonce to take a 5-year hiatus. Enough, already.

  7.  I am able to FINALLY kick these damned cigarettes  
  forever. I DO love smoking, but I love singing more.

6.  Black Broadway comes back…without Frenchie Davis, preferably. 

5.  The Knicks recruit fine-ass Tyronn Lue and I win courtside season tickets (while we’re wishing for stuff…)

4.  The New School gives me the M.A. in a frame so that I don’t have to spend another $100.  (I mean, I do think we’ve spent enough already, no?)

3.  My move out of NYC goes off without a hitch, and lightens my spirit the way it’s intended to.

2.  Conrad Murray gets arrested & convicted or killed…(take your pick, you bastard...) either one would do just fine. A dark wish, I know, but he killed a part of my soul.

 1.  That I am able to balance ALL of the things that I love – the music, radio talk, producing whatever needs to be produced at the moment – into a life filled with passion, prosperity, and productivity.
